Staging FAQ

Q - Can’t I just stage my house myself?

A – You’re used to your house, seeing it every day. We come in with a fresh perspective, noticing areas you may not. This is what we do. We have many methods to capture the interest of your perspective buyer.

Q – No matter what my house looks like, can’t people just look past it and notice the “bare bones” of my house?

A – Unfortunately they may not.  A clean, neat house with paint touched up and loose tiles re-grouted tell them it’s been well taken care of. An uncluttered house without too much furniture tells them it’s spacious. Cozy, feel good areas help the potential homebuyer envision themselves enjoying this home with their own family and friends.

Q – I have a lot of stuff. What can I do with it, if you tell me some of it has to go?

A – You’re going to be moving anyway. Pack up off season clothes, unused sports equipment, the Christmas ornaments and anything else you won’t need in the next few months. These boxes could be stored neatly in the basement or better yet, rent a storage space. Your packing will be half way completed when you sell your home and get ready to move.
